This morning we hosted a time of worship & Bible study. We planned to begin at 9:30 AM. People started showing up around 8:45 AM. By 9:30 the yard was packed with children and adults. After Lewis welcomed everyone, Vicente and Angie led worship. The majority of people who came together were not regular church goers. After worship, we dismissed the children to go with Vicente, Angie and members of our team for a time of Sunday School. When the children left, more adults came and filled every chair (over 50 adults from the community). At the end of the Bible study two people prayed to receive the Lord. We asked how many people would like to get together the same way every Sunday Morning. Most of the people raised their hands. At the end of the study we surprised the group by inviting them to stay for hotdogs and soda. It was a great time of fellowship – and more people showed up. Please pray that those who attended would grow in their relationship with JESUS and that the Lord would add to the church those who are being saved.
