Today we journeyed to Batey 6 to minister with Pastor Kuki. When we arrived he told us about a family deeply involved with Santeria (voodo). They had many pacts with the devil. The woman (Francisca) had been shot three times three days before. She said that she didn't need the police -- instead she would get justice. He asked up to go and share the gosple with the family.
When we arrived Francisca was sitting outside of her shack. She was in pain. We shared the gospel with her. She repented and accepted JESUS (in tears). She then called the three people in this photo to come over. They are her children: Yeny, Roberto, and Gregory. They heard the gospel and received Jesus.
We then went to her father who had been serving the devil for years. His name is Gerlato. He's over 80 yeras old. When we started sharing the gospel with him he told us about an experience he had recently. He wasn't feeling well and went to bed. He said "a man" came to him in the night, hugged him, and kissed him and told him that he would receive a gift soon -- to be ready. We shared about God's gift of salvation. He received Jesus, repenting in tears.
Overall over 15 people received Jesus at Batey 6. We're praising God!
